An article recently published in Bitter Wallet raised the question whether or not e-cigarettes are good or bad. The article noted that no electronic cigarettes have been approved for medical purposes. The statement is of course true, but sort of misses the point of e-cigarettes. The article also seemed to be generally suspicious of Big Tobacco's new found love of vaping.
The article raises an interesting question in my mind. Does Big Tobacco's courtship of the e-cigarette industry mean there will be a new era of suspicion projected onto the e-cigarette industry. There was already a little bit of that going on because most e-cigarettes are imported. I wonder if there is a new sort of association if it will be better or worse than before.
