I’ve been following some seriously troubling online rumblings throughout most of today. It appears that starting on January 1st, some folks have run into problems purchasing from e-cigarette retailers using a credit card. The first rumblings of this came via a YouTube video from a person in Oklahoma. At first it seemed isolated, and Oklahoma has had an interesting relationship with e-cigarettes as of late.

What Don’t we Know about Nicotine? Some Interesting Insight.
A press release has been making the rounds on a survey of vapers and their knowledge of nicotine. The release is essentially a big ad for a nicotine company, but it contains some interesting nuggets. It’s particularly interesting because vapers were the subject of the survey, so it’s specific to what we know (or don’t know) about the stuff we’re inhaling. Here’s the full release for your perusal. UK Vapers Shuts its Virtual Doors
It appears that the Totally Wicked / UK Vapers battle has concluded. UK Vapers placed an announcement on its front page today informing visitors that the site is to be no more. The lengthy piece explains the reasoning behind the closure, where the lion’s share of the blame goes not to TW, but to the forum owner’s (heartbreaking) personal issues.

Study Finds No Harm in Second-Hand eCig Vapor
Utah Vapers posted an exciting article on their blog recently. The advocacy group has been working with Italian flavoring company Flavor Art to commission a study to determine what, if any, harmful substances can be found in the vapor exhaled by e-cigarette users. One finding that surprised even me is that there is no nicotine present in exhaled vapor.
