Impressions: The Storm Tank

storm tank ce2 v5 cartomizer mod for electronic cigarettes

Recently, I purchased a Storm Tank from Stormy’s Vapor Cellar.  As the name hints, the Storm Tank is what’s known as a “tank mod” with a little extra feature.  Tank mods are modified CE2 cartomizer in which the internal workings of the cartomizer are removed and stuffed into a different tube.  The original mods used a 3ml BD syringe which happens to fit the CE2 guts perfectly.  Bigger tubes eventually replaced the syringes and the tank mod was born.

Impressions: G4 Cartomizer

The G4 cartomizer is an interesting addition to the “clearomizer” world.  The G4 a clear, fillerless cartomizer that features the heating element located at the bottom part of the tube where the battery connector is.  This configuration makes the G4 much more similar to a traditional atomizer and cartridge or tank setup.  Additionally, the G4 features super simple filling as there is no gasket at the top of the tube requiring a syringe to fill the tube with eliquid.

Impressions of the CE2 Giantomizer (aka Maximizer v2)

Remember, this ain’t no photoblog :)

I wanted to kick things off with a few words about what is the current workhorse in my stable of PV hardware.  This big fella is the new and improved Giantomizer, which is branded as the Maximizer and sold by GotVapes.com.  I believe this unit, like its smaller siblings is produced by Royal Smokers.

The feature list of this model is fairly impressive, it boasts a tough as nails exterior sleeve, a viewing window in the sleeve to see juice levels at a glance, relatively easy to fill, and a massive carrying capacity. This unit is an update to the original and features a leak free design along with a  “whistle tip” rubber cap.
