I just received an email update from Totally Wicked announcing across-the-board price reductions along with their current summer sale promotion.
As promised in our recent Summer Sale newsletter; we have committed to review our pricing structure with our intention to provide you with a range of product pricing, that combined with our commitment to the highest possible standard of customer service, will offer you market leading value. Our first stage has been to consider our core Atomizer and Battery products. This pricing review is now complete. Even though we have our summer sale ongoing to the end of the month, we believe these base price reductions should be passed on immediately. As can be seen from the table below, the average price reduction is approximately 20% below the price on the 30th June. We give you our commitment that we will commit to these prices as part of our new basic retail pricing structure. You will also see that, for the remainder of the month as our sale continues, the prices on these items are on average more than 40% lower than the prevailing price in June. We will continue with our ongoing price review and will release any new prices a soon as we are able.
Obviously as a consumer, I applaud this move. The primary complaint I’ve heard about Totally Wicked in my travels isn’t really about the quality of its product, but rather their prices are somewhat on the high side. TW has previously used daily coupon codes transmitted via its Twitter, Facebook and forum outlets to offset its pricing. I am unsure if those will continue as well, but lower overall pricing should make it easier than waiting around for just the right online code should they decide to stop those codes.
