Ron Reviews: Berries & Creme from Smoque Vapors

After a brief absence from writing reviews I am returning to tell you about a new favorite flavor of mine, Berries & Cream from Smoque Vapors

First Impressions

Smoque-BerriesAndCream-Eliquid_largeI do love a good Berry flavored vape and just from the description alone I was very curious to give it a try.

This flavor was supplied to me at no charge for the purpose of review by SMOQUE VAPOR (Thank you James).

The description from their website is as follows:

The velvety richness of heavy cream paired with the vibrant intensity of just picked berries.  A deeply satisfying mixture of freshness.  It lightly permeates the palate in a most pleasing way.  This summertime favorite has been artfully crafted into a refreshing E-Liquid smoking experience.

The order was promptly shipped from their headquarters in Chicago, Il via USPS priority mail in a standard padded manilla envelope.  All orders are shipped in this manner and S&H is a flat rate of $6.00 with orders of over $50.00 shipping for free.

Prices are as follows.  5ml @ $3.89, 15ml @ $10.99, 30ml @ 18.99 and 120ml @ 54.99.  Sometimes they do have specials so you might just want to sign up for their newsletter to make sure you don’t miss them.

Inside were well filled 30ml bottles with the kind of plastic screw on caps you might find on bottles of cough syrup.  Each bottle was individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then sealed into an individual Ziploc bag.

The bottles are marked with a paper label (in my opinion and upgrade from their original transparent label almost like a “water decal” which vanished with handling) and you can easily read with the SMOQUE logo, name of the flavor, with the level of nicotine and the born on date written in by hand and “Made In America”.

The liquid inside a slightly cloudy orange color.  And when shaken, you can see some small air bubbles being formed that linger for just a couple of moments before floating to the top an disappearing from sight.  And when it comes to the good old “sniff test” my nose is telling me that berries are indeed the featured player in this mixture.  Almost reminiscent of fruit punch.  Very refreshing and inviting.

Now for the actual test

vapor shopSMOQUE normally creates their E-Liquids in a mix of 60% PG and 40%VG with your choice of 0, 6, 12, 18 or 24mg of nicotine. But if you ask them, they will mix as you prefer it. So I received my preference of 60/40 with 18mg of nicotine. This particular bottle was mixed almost exactly one month before it was shipped as it is a top seller and one that they do make in advance so in my opinion, there was no need for additional steeping time.

Anyway, in this case, I fill up my Kanger ProTank with a 2.5 ohm Evod head, courtesy of Rick of Vapor Alley who is most kindly supporting my reviews and attach it to my Vamo as usual and start out at 3.4v and work my way up to about 4.2v and back down to 3.7v.

The first thing I notice is very pronounced mixed berry flavor on the inhale.  Definitely Strawberry and Blueberry and possibly Raspberry as well.  I also notice some hint of cream as well but that really takes charge on the exhale.  A very nice heavy cream note that works quite nicely with the tart berry notes as well as what I term a natural level of sweetness that you would expect from fresh berries.

I am rather surprised with the amount of throat hit I am getting from a berry and cream flavor as it is very assertive.  Not to mention a surprising amount of vapor production from a 60/40 mix.  The vapor also carries with it a very light berry scent which is also quite nice.

If think you would enjoy a berries and cream vape, you should really consider ordering at least one 5ml bottle in your prefered mix ration and nic level.  I can really see this flavor becoming an all day vape for many of us.

Now a little bit about SMOQUE

Mixing Area 1As usual, I spent a lot of time collecting information from Jered about his  operation.  Not only are they passionate about the E-Liquids they mix in house they have built their passion into a bit of a vapers paradise complete with a Brick and Mortar store complete with a line of decently priced APVs and associated gear, a very nice in house mixing facility and a vapers lounge to boot where you can come in, try their flavors and hang out with your peers.
