Ron Reviews: Paradise

While we all have our own favorite APV’s and gear to provide our vapor, the one thing we all continue to search for is a great E-Liquid to fill the device of our choosing with.

For your consideration, I offer you…

Paradise from Bulk E-Juice

First Impressions

This is the second of their new signature series that they have provided to me for review (thank you Misty!)

The first thing I noticed when I received the shipment in the mail was the wonderful aroma that came out of the padded shipping envelope. And eventually I was able to breach the protective barrier of bubble wrap to get to the bottles of E-Liquid inside.

The liquid is clear in appearance with just the barest hint of an amber color to it. And the scent from the bottle is undeniably citrus in nature. This could be interesting as I am not usually a fan of citrus flavored E-Liquids.

That being said, I loaded a clean Kanger Evod with a 2.5 ohm head supplied to me for use in my reviews courtesy of Rick, Owner of Vapor Alley (Thank you Rick).

While their normal mix is 50/50 with your choice of nicotine level, since each liquid is made to order, mine was 60/40 at 18mg of nicotine. You just have to state your preference and it shall be done.
When I am testing a new E-Liquid for the first time, I like to start out at 3.4v and work my way up till the taste starts change for the worse and then walk the volts back down until I find my “sweet spot” for that e-liquid.
At 3.4v the liquid definitely had a presence. Some throat hit and some respectable vapor for that voltage. Really started to come along at 3.6v and it maxed out for me at 3.9v. A very respectable amount of throat and clouds of vapor

I immediately on inhale, a strong very, very strong citrus flavor also very tart which I like. With a touch of sweetness added and a hint of mint on the exhale. It seems to be trying to remind me of some kind of candy that I had once tasted. I just can’t put my finger on it.

A week passes

A big change.

The liquid has gotten a lot darker in a short period of time and is now an amber color.

And I am having a hard time deciding what voltage is best as the slightest change does seem to make a difference so I am back and forth between 3.7 and 4.0v

The citrus flavor is still front and center but the original sweet note to it has become more of a candied flavor and even more tart. My tongue is telling me lemon/lime and lime seems to be winning. And the mint now has more of a presence to it. Not a lot but it is most definitely there. The amount of throat hit has increased slightly but the vapor production is about the same and still quite good.

And I finally decide what this liquid is trying to remind me of from my childhood.

Sweet Tarts! I used to love those things and now here is that flavor profile in an E-Liquid. Not as tart as the original candy but enough to remind me of an old favorite treat.

I think this is a great candidate for a vape on a hot day and as a possible treatment for vapers tongue as it really gets the taste buds and your salivary glands excited and working.

Well worth your consideration if you like this type of flavor profile.

Pleasantly surprised to find that I did.

Now a little bit about Bulk E-Juice

They are big advocates of vaping as a healthier alternative to smoking and involved in our vaping community
They are a family run business that started out making E-Liquids about two years ago and started retailing November 2012 and are based in
Kokomo, Indiana.

And while they use the best of ingredients in their creations and mix to order, they offer some of the best customer service I have
encountered.

Service is quick, product is well packaged (they really like bubble wrap) and you get a USPS tracking number.
Prices are very reasonable for the excellent product you receive.
And of this morning, a total of 146 different flavors to choose from.
